In the work there is a sense of the depth of the ocean, the light, the sky, the wind, the energy, the landform, rock crevices, the silhouettes, the swell, the sand, footprints, nature’s line work and the ever present horizon.
The paintings are a compilation of these viewpoints over time.

/ The Process
The work has a foundation in the concept of time and how a walk in nature can change us
I absorb the fleeting lines on the sand made by the waves, the patterns of bubbles before they disappear, the affect the waves make on a rock or a shell and the sand that surrounds them and the deep rhythm of the ocean……… all with constant change.
